Everyone wants to be special, that’s why we play these types of games and immerse ourselves into imaginary worlds, however, for things to work properly there have to be a few guidelines to what we can and cannot expect to be capable of in the theme. Below you will find a few guidelines that will help us better adapt to our IC world.
* Yeah, this is California and most everyone wants to be wealthy. That’s fine, however players should avoid using any of the following terms in their characters personalities, backgrounds, or reputations.
* No family is so powerful they can be free of all consequences of their actions.
* No character may live alone in their home while in high school. All characters must have a parent or guardian.
* Teenagers may not own lucrative businesses.
* Please avoid trying to app characters of unrivaled popularity or power over NPCs. Using terms like ‘the most popular’ or ‘the best at <topic>’ are popular terms that while they seem alluring, are often ideas that should be earned through interaction and RP, not being the first person to wrote it up.
* All IC Student Offices will be filled through IC elections. If you would like to have been in an office in the past school year, check the necessary pages to see if that slot is open. Past offices are a first come, first serve topic.
* Please avoid royalty, if only because it’s WAY overdone.
* Don't be afraid to fill a 'Wanted' request!
* If you are apping an important family (Mayor/Sheriff/etc.) check the Extras page to make sure it is not already taken.
